Join us in welcoming Jennifer Gallwas and David George, nationally known as “PT and The Professor”, as the new driving force behind the Sure Shot Pickleball Academy. They will make regular appearances here starting on Wednesday February 18th as we kick things off with clinics and a Meet & Greet at Sure Shot Pickleball, their new Pickleball home in between traveling and playing all around the country!
“PT & The Professor” is a coaching and competitive partnership that blends elite athletic performance with evidence-based training and mindset development. The duo travels nationally as sought-after instructors and professional athletes, with combined accolades that include multiple gold medals across the PPA, APP, and Champions Series tours.
Jennifer Gallwas is a physical therapist specializing in sports medicine and orthopedics, holding a master’s degree in physical therapy from Northwestern University and bringing over 25 years of clinical experience. She is also a former Division I tennis player at DePaul University, with extensive expertise in movement efficiency, injury prevention, and performance longevity.
David George is a professor of philosophy and ethics with a master’s degree from Princeton University and a Ph.D. from the University of Notre Dame. His academic work focuses on education, sports performance, and positive psychology, and he brings a unique perspective on mindset, decision-making, and sustainable excellence in competitive sport.
