A ladder league is a form of league play in which players register individually. At the beginning of the league, players are ranked randomly or based on their self-assessment of skill level. Players move up or down the ladder based on the outcome of their games.
The objective of a ladder league is to encourage players to play against others of similar skill levels and provide a fun, competitive environment where they can improve their skills. It’s also a great way to meet new people and build camaraderie in the Pickleball community.
A Round Robin league is a type of tournament or league format in which participants register individually to play multiple games with different partners against different opponents. The players are organized into groups or rounds, and they play a set number of games in each round. At the end of each round, the scores are tallied, and the players are reorganized based on their performance. This format ensures that players get to play against different opponents and have the opportunity to meet new people while also improving their skills.
Team leagues can be more competitive. If you have a partner you like playing with, then sign up for one of our Team Leagues here. Sign up individually but play as a team. These leagues offer varying levels of competitiveness for everyone’s level of enjoyment.
