Get ready for a pickleball experience like no other! This 3-person team tournament format brings intense action, team spirit and friendly rivalry!!
⚠️Team captains will register for the entire team. $120 per team = $40 per player Team captain will email info@sureshotpickleball.com with their team name and team members.
How it works:
🤝 Teams: 8 teams of 3 players each (gender-specific)
🏓 The 8 teams will be split into 2 pools of 4 based on total DUPR ratings. Each pool will participate in a round robin format consisting of 3 matches. The top 2 teams in each pool will advance to bracket play (based on total wins and then head-to-head).
👉🏻 Pool Play: Games played to 11, win by 1. Every player will compete in two games in each match in pool play. Each match will consist of 3 games with rotating partners as follows:
- Doubles 1 (player 1 & player 2)
- Doubles 2 (player 1 & player 3)
- Doubles 3 (player 2 & player 3)
👉🏻 Bracket Play:
- Games played to 11, win by 2
- 1st from pool A plays 2nd from pool B. 1st from pool B plays 2nd from pool A
- Best 2 out of 3, so plan your dubles pairings carefully
- Gold medal and Bronze medal matches are also 2-out-of-3.
⚡️ DUPR Ratings: To ensure fair and balanced competition, team DUPR ratings can combine for a total of 10 (with a cap of 10.5) with an individual player max DUPR of 3.799
➡️ All team members are required to have a DUPR account linked to CourtReserve. If a player does not have a DUPR, an average of 3.33 will be used.
